In a recent article by Jeff Siegel cites a number of answers to a press release describing the decision by General Electric in a joint venture with Harbin Power Equipment in China to build wind turbines power. I was surprised to read that there are still people on this planet who live in the illusion of our “patriotic duty” of the Horde on all commercial activities within the country rather than abroad.
Obama also does not seem to pass that the wave of “Buy American Flag. After all that has to buy everything that America, or even made entirely in the USA? I bet that is also America’s favorite car, and even Harley Davidson is not made entirely of parts in the U.S. “A Good Old”. This type of patriotism, died in late 1980, established a U.S. manufacturing plants in Mexico, China, Indonesia and other small countries with low wages. That’s when people should express their views on nationalism have expressed.
I remember years ago talking to an engineer in a pulp mill in a small town in northern Canada. He said that unionized workers go on strike because of what they wanted would stay away from work, get to have it. His reasoning was that they had been since the pulp mill in the city; one might ask what I wanted!
